Everyone knows that The Boss is absolutely amazing live. I mean I’ve never been to one of his shows but I’ve listened and watched a couple before and found out that they were pretty long. It’s kind of hard to pack parts of his performance in an Ep – but I love this collection. Some of my favorites by Bruce and even better – live!

Death of a Bachelor is an album by Panic! at the Disco released in 2016. It was their 5th album and their 2nd album with Brendon Urie being the only member of the band. It’s most definitely my favorite because it’s the album that got me into Panic! Here’s a ranking of the album from my least favorite to favorite.

I haven’t know John Splithoff’s music for super long. He’s honestly not super popular, and I first heard his music in a set of headphones at Costco. I really liked him so I looked him up at home and did some heavy listening of his EP. I think he may have a couple of singles but he doesn’t have that much music. With that, I really got a feel of his sound and songwriting style, and I’m a big fan of his stuff. He’s got like a really cool pop/soul sound that’s different than mainstream music. This isn’t a ranking based on favorites and is in the order of the EP.

Released in 1976, Boston’s first album titled “Boston”, was a massive hit, selling over 17 million copies. And there’s no question why. It was recorded by singer Brad Delp and guitarist/producer Tom Scholz in a basement in the middle of Boston. Although the album only has one top ten hit, “More Than a Feeling,” peaking at number five, the album is still great. I personally have it on vinyl and love to just listen through it. There isn’t really a bad song on it at all so here’s my review.

Full Moon Fever was released in 1989 by Geffen Records. Whenever you hear the name Tom Petty, this is probably the album you’d think of. It was one of 3 albums that Tom Petty made without his band, the Heartbreakers. None of the songs on the album hit number 1, but Free Fallin’ peaked at number 7. I took some time to listen to the album, and found that it was better than I had expected. I hadn’t listened to Tom Petty very much until somebody suggested a review on him. I’ve started to enjoy his music a lot. He has a great style that’s impossible not to like. Here is my ranking of the album, from best to worst.

Quite possibly one of the greatest albums ever, Cracked Rear View, was released on July 5, 1994 (24 years today) by Hootie & The Blowfish. It was an immediate hit and went on to sell fourteen million copies. Surprisingly, none of the songs hit number one, but three of them made top ten, which is pretty good for a first album. Only Wanna Be With You peaked at number 6, Let Her Cry at number 9, and number 10 being Hold My Hand.

My favorite band has to be the Steve Miller band. Not only do they have a very distinct rock sound, they also know how to play the blues. The Steve Miller band started off as the Steve Miller blues band in the early sixties. They had gigs at nightclubs and even sang backup for Chuck Berry. Then in the seventies, they started to drift more towards rock. Their fifth album and first hit album was The Joker, released in 1973 by Capitol Records. A few years after releasing The Joker, they released what I would say their greatest album is, Fly Like an Eagle, released in 1976 also by Capitol Records. This album shows both rock and roll and techno music. Here is my ranking of the album.
